Oaks Jewellery is a family run business with a long history of manufacturing high quality crystal jewellery and diamante jewellery. We have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience and specialise in using claw set Austrian Crystal supplied by Swarovski. Included in our range are crystal crosses, crystal earrings, crystal bracelets, we make the majority of our jewellery by hand in Somerset, England. However, to compliment our crystal jewellery we have sourced some very special Sterling Silver Christian jewellery from leading designers across the world. Some of these designs use semi precious materials like Cubic Zirconia and Mother of Pearl. Our jewellery makes a perfect First Holy Communion gift or confirmation and Christening present.

The Materials of Our Trade
Swarovski Crystal is made using a basic formulae perfected by Daniel Swarovski and his three sons in the early part of the last century. It is fired using a combination of natural minerals and quartz sand and then cooled slowly to avoid stress and inclusions. The production method and the processing of the raw material play a major role in determining its brilliance and the measure of its value. All our crystal jewellery is hand made in England created with CRYSTALLIZED - Swarovski Elements.
The Swarovski claw set crystal chain has a shorter link between stones giving you more stones per inch than cheaper 'Czech' or 'Rhinestone' crystal. The stones also have more polished facets making the stones noticeable more dazzling and brilliant. Like for like nothing compares to the exquisite quality of Swarovski claw set crystal. We only use Swarovski components so we can confidently guarantee the quality of our range of jewellery.
Claw Set Crystal
In the majority of our diamante jewellery the crystal is 'claw set' using claws like diamond sets. The stones are not glued in 'pave or stone set'. We do also have a special selection of Cubic Zirconia jewellery including Cubic Zirconia bracelets. Cubic Zirconia is often known as CZ jewellery. Our Sterling Silver jewellery comes from some of the worlds leading designers using high quality manufacturing and finishing techniques. All our Sterling Silver Christian jewellery is hallmarked accordingly. Sterling Silver, perfect for Christenings and confirmations.
Sterling Silver. Each piece of Oaks Silver Jewellery is stamped '925'. (if over 1g in weight). This means that there are 925 parts of silver in every 1000 of its metal content. This is in conformity with the 925 marking on E.U. Silver products, the 925 content of Sterling silver. It is all 92.5% pure and that is as good as it gets!
